If there is an ambassadorial campaign, we invite you to apply as a member of the NIVEA loyalty program. If your application is successful, you will receive a free NIVEA package with new NIVEA products for you and your friends to test, as well as a manual with application tips.

2 Tell others about your test product

Making NIVEA products known is one of the goals of ambassador campaigns. As a NIVEA ambassador, you can help us: Talk about your new NIVEA products, tell others about your experiences on Instagram and share exciting background information with friends and acquaintances.

3 Tell us about your experiences

During an ambassador campaign, we want to gather as much experience as possible about the new NIVEA products. Your personal impressions are therefore very important to us. Let us know your own opinion by answering our questionnaires and writing product reviews.

Terms of Use for Ambassador Campaigns

Terms of conditions are the legal agreements between us as NIVEA and a you who wants to be part of that community. Following we explain the terms of use of the ambassador campaign in detail.

The NIVEA Ambassador Campaign is organised by Beiersdorf AG, Unnastrasse 48, D-20253 Hamburg.

area of validity

These Terms of Use apply to all NIVEA FOR ME participants who apply for or participate in NIVEA Ambassador Promotions.

content of the ambassadors campaign

The NIVEA Ambassador Campaign provides a selected group of NIVEA FOR ME members with Beiersdorf products for testing purposes. The participant (hereinafter also referred to as "NIVEA Ambassador") is expected to try out, evaluate and recommend the products. One of the objectives of the Ambassador Campaign is to make NIVEA products known. NIVEA Ambassadors are therefore required to share their impressions and evaluations of the NIVEA products tested as part of the promotion with family members, friends and acquaintances, as well as on their own social media channels and on the website https://dialog.nivea.de/de/ through comments and other content such as photos or videos. If Beiersdorf products are recommended, the NIVEA ambassador must indicate that he or she is participating in a Beiersdorf marketing project. The NIVEA Ambassador should always openly express his opinion about the product. Participation in NIVEA ambassador campaigns is free of charge.

Participation in the NIVEA Ambassador Campaign requires an application to the campaign.

A prerequisite for applying for a NIVEA Ambassador Campaign is membership in NIVEA FOR ME. The NIVEA Ambassadors are selected by Beiersdorf on the basis of the information provided by the NIVEA FOR ME participants according to their interests and inclinations and generally according to the target group of NIVEA products to be tested. There is no legal entitlement to participate in a particular NIVEA Ambassador promotion. Legal recourse is excluded in this respect. Eligible to participate are persons resident in the Federal Republic of Germany who have reached the age of 16. Employees of Beiersdorf and their relatives are excluded from participating in the promotion. Every applicant for a NIVEA Ambassador Campaign must provide correct data in his or her application and must provide truthful information. The application is made by entering their own data on the website https://www.nivea.de/nivea-fuermich/botschafter-0291.

The application period is announced on the respective ambassador action page. Beiersdorf AG will inform applicants of their choice in writing or by e-mail as to whether they have been selected to participate. The selected participants will receive a free NIVEA package from Beiersdorf containing the test product, product samples for friends and acquaintances, a handbook with application tips and questionnaires asking for their opinion of NIVEA products.

Privacy of personal data

The nivea.de data protection regulations apply with regard to the use of personal data provided in the course of NIVEA ambassador campaigns and other data protection aspects. These can be found at www.nivea.com

rules of use

Each participant is obliged to comply with the applicable laws as a NIVEA ambassador and in dealings with other participants, and to treat other participants with respect and courtesy. Beiersdorf reserves the right to exclude NIVEA Ambassadors from NIVEA Ambassador Promotions if these Terms of Use are violated. Goods or items that the NIVEA Ambassador receives from Beiersdorf as part of an ambassador promotion represent unsaleable samples. The sale of these products, in particular via platforms such as eBay, is prohibited.

The contents of the NIVEA FOR ME website and other documents and materials received by the participant are generally protected by copyright and may only be used in accordance with Beiersdorf's guidelines and conditions. Any other duplication, distribution, reproduction or making available to the public is prohibited without the consent of the copyright holder.

myNIVEA Participants who publish content (blog entries, photos, videos, comments, reports, etc.) on NIVEA FOR ME blogs as part of NIVEA ambassador campaigns grant Beiersdorf a non-exclusive right of use free of charge, unlimited in time and place, which entitles Beiersdorf to distribute, reproduce and make publicly available this content in all media, in particular all social media channels.

warranty and indemnification

By submitting content as part of NIVEA Ambassador Promotions, the participant insures and guarantees the following:

he is the sole author and holder of the intellectual property rights thereto;
all contents entered by him are correct;
he is at least 16 years old;
the use of the content provided by him does not violate these terms of use.

Furthermore, the participant assures and guarantees that he/she will not submit any content,

which he knows to be false, inaccurate or misleading;
which violate the copyright or other rights of third parties;
which violate legal regulations or official orders;
which are defamatory, libellous, insulting or discriminatory towards an individual or a company;
for which he has received a payment or other consideration from a third party;
which contain information regarding other websites, addresses, e-mail addresses, contact information or telephone numbers;
which contain computer viruses, worms or other potentially harmful computer programs or files.

The participant indemnifies Beiersdorf AG, Unnastrasse 48, D-20253 Hamburg, Germany, and its official representatives, officers, directors, agents, affiliates, joint ventures, employees, and external service providers against all claims, demands, and damages - including any legal fees and court costs that may be incurred - resulting from a violation of your above-mentioned commitments and obligations.

Right of intervention by Beiersdorf

Beiersdorf reserves the right to modify, summarize, or delete any content on the NIVEA FOR ME website that Beiersdorf, in its sole discretion, believes violates the Content Guidelines or any other provision of these Terms of Use.

In any case, Beiersdorf reserves the right to remove submitted contributions or to refuse to publish them. In your internal relationship with Beiersdorf, you are responsible for the content of your contributions.

Availability of the website and myNIVEA promotional services

Beiersdorf may terminate the NIVEA FOR ME website and its services at any time and may also terminate the user relationship at any time. The website or other services may also be temporarily unavailable due to technical faults. The participant has no right to demand that NIVEA FÜR MICH promotion pages be accessible at all times.

Final provisions, severability clause, choice of law

Beiersdorf reserves the right to amend these Terms of Use. Participants will be notified of such changes either when they log in to the NIVEA FOR ME platform or by e-mail. If the participant does not agree with the changes, he/she must terminate his/her participation in the promotion. Otherwise the changes will take effect at the time specified by Beiersdorf.

Should individual clauses be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining clauses shall remain unaffected. German law applies to the user relationship between the participant and Beiersdorf.
